Since leaving school I have had several Romania Email List experiences, this is my fourth project. So I am a young entrepreneur of 50 years old. Regarding the creation of Hackuity, after the session of my previous company (Lexsi) j at Orange CyberDéfense (OCD) in 2015, I was technical director of OCD and responsible for a BU of 250 people. In contact with our many customers, in France and internationally, I was confirmed that a need still exists for vulnerability management and ensuring the cybersecurity of organizations. Hackuity, founded in early 2019 , is a solution publisher that addresses one of the oldest professions in cyber: vulnerability management and therefore for the cybersecurity of organizations.

Vulnerabilities are the flaws that can be found in computer systems and which can serve as a gateway to carry out attacks, data theft or allow the spread of ransomware … Today we consider that the great The majority of these security incidents still originate from the exploitation of a vulnerability. Hackuity is a technological platform that will orchestrate the ecosystem around the management of vulnerabilities to identify, qualify, prioritize and correct them. As companies today face so many vulnerabilities – several million per year for a large organization – the current challenge is no longer to deal with all vulnerabilities but in priority those which are real and proven threats for the company.

Hackuity fights for the cybersecurity

Hackuity helps companies automate vulnerability detection, qualification and remediation operations with 2 major ambitions: reducing the remediation times for the most critical vulnerabilities – and therefore improving the company’s security posture – and reducing costs process by automating low value-added tasks that are still too often done manually today. The platform, available in SaaS or installed at the customer’s premises, is connected to the company’s internal or external sources of vulnerability (repositories, scanners, pentest results, bug-bounty). The vulnerabilities are then automatically qualified by confronting them with current threats, by correlating them to Cyber Threat Intelligence sources. We have developed an algorithm that will continuously assign a risk score – the True Risk Score – to all vulnerabilities.

I co-created the company with 4 partners. The other 3 partners are technical experts who designed and developed the solution. I brought my knowledge of the market, my network and ensured the first phases of marketing We started the go to market on March 1, 2020. Two weeks later, the confinement began. The Covid was therefore a very complicated period for us and for many young startups. Through my network developed in my previous experiences, we initially approached large accounts, CAC 40 companies or large public structures (Ministry, State Operator). The subject of organizational cybersecurity is more mature in large structures. They have identified their cyber risks, and know the issues surrounding vulnerabilities.

How did you come to found Hackuity

This score is specific to the technical or business context of each organization. How did you launch the project allowing you to ensure the cybersecurity of organizations? The solution is aimed at two types of interlocutors: Governance drives the vulnerability management program and the cybersecurity of organizations: the Information Systems Security Manager (CISO) is often our client and the main sponsor of the solution in the company. Indeed, thanks to Hackuity and its many dashboards provided as standard, reporting and compliance management are greatly simplified. Operational staff are the main users who are responsible for remedying vulnerabilities. They will retrieve the information provided by Hackuity and apply the fixes or workarounds

Today, we have 40 subscribed clients, and many large accounts Our first client was signed in mid-2020. Our ambition now is to address smaller clients who ultimately have the same challenges. Our solution is suitable for any type of need, size or technical scope. Today we are about twenty people in the adventure. The Banque de invested in in June 2021. The objective is to help us to develop, and in particular to address smaller structures in the territory. The ambition is to be able to support, for example, university hospitals or local authorities which are also confronted with these attacks and these vulnerabilities. We remember for example among many others the attack suffered by the CH -sur-.
